Jason R Park, 54, of Rigby, beloved Son, Father, Grandfather, and Brother, passed away surrounded by family on August 27, 2025.

Jason was born on March 4, 1971, in Rexburg, Idaho, to Janet Shupe Park and Reed Nuel Park, the youngest of four boys. He attended Verdugo Hills High School in California, where he met his wife, Tracy Poole, and they later divorced.

Beginning in 1991, they welcomed their 4 children. Though life carried them in different ways, they remained devoted parents. Jason loved his family above all else; his biggest joy was spending time with his grandchildren. He was a simple man. He was happy to stay home or to be in the wilderness with those he loved. He was never seen without his black hat and a knife on his hip.

Jason's last act was to give the gift of life through organ donation.

He is survived by his daughter, Madison Park of Blackfoot, Idaho; his son, Logan (Jessica) Park, and their five children: Kory, Kian, Kyden, Jaylee, and Evalee Anne of Idaho Falls, Idaho; his son, Gavin Park (girlfriend, Chelsea), and their daughter, Davis of Idaho Falls, Idaho; his son, Zachary Park (fiancée, Jenny) of Vancouver, Washington; his mother, Janet Miller of Rigby, Idaho; his brothers: Blair (Robyn) Park of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Doug (Connie) Park of Silverdale, Washington, and Guy (Bouthoung) Park of Rigby, Idaho.

He was preceded in death by his father, Reed Nuel Park, and his uncles: Dee Shupe, Lyle Shupe, and Pete Shupe.

In accordance with his wishes, a private family graveside service will be held under the direction of Coltrin Mortuary, 2100 First Street, Idaho Falls.
