Jason Lee Parker, 52, of Fort Worth, TX, passed from this life on November 22, 2025, at Medical City, Alliance in Fort Worth. He was born on September 19, 1973, in Phoenix, AZ, to Malcolm Davis and Eileen Chase.
Jason grew up in Oklahoma and graduated from Marietta High School with the Class of 1992. He continued his education at Southeastern Oklahoma State University, where he earned his bachelor's degree in safety and became a proud member of the Sigma Tau Gamma fraternity. The friendships he formed there lasted throughout his life.
Jason lived in the Dallas–Fort Worth area for more than 20 years, where he served with honor and devotion as a firefighter and paramedic with the Dallas Fire Department. A long-time member of Dallas Fire Station 12, Jason was known as a gentle, kind-hearted man whose smile could brighten even the hardest days. He spent countless holidays with his firefighting family, always answering the call to protect, to serve, and to save lives. His selfless dedication made him a hero to many.
Jason loved playing sports, working hard, staying active, and spending time with the people who meant the most to him. He cherished his family deeply and never hesitated to say, "I love you," often followed by a loving reminder to "straighten up, you can do better than that" - words spoken from a heart full of gratitude and care. He loved his Sigma Tau Gamma brothers and his Dallas Fire Department family, and in all three of his families, he was lifted up and honored as a hero.
He had no enemies and made friends wherever he went. His big smile, bigger heart, and unwavering kindness will forever be missed.
Jason was preceded in death by his father, Malcolm Lamar Davis, and several beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Those who will live to cherish his memory include his wife, Amy Golightly-Parker of the home; his son, Hayden Golightly-Parker, United States Navy EP-3 firefighter aboard the USS George Washington, of Fort Worth; his mother, Eileen Chase of Burneyville, OK; his siblings Scott Davis and husband Christopher of Oklahoma City, OK; Woody Parker of Burneyville; Dr. Brett Chase and wife Dr. Brandy Chase of Weatherford, OK; Kinsey Chase of Burneyville; and Hailey Carrillo and husband Cruz of Burneyville.
