JASON ROSENBERG Obituary

ROSENBERG, Attorney Jason Passed away peacefully, on June 29, 2024, after a long and beautiful life. He had resided in North Andover, Andover Amesbury in the past and in his current home, in Newton. Jason was predeceased by his beloved parents, Sarah and David Rosenberg; as well as his three dear brothers, Merrill, Pinky and Shyer. He was married for 54 years to his beautiful wife, Hermie, whose passing 18 years ago left him lost and alone. With the loving support and dedication of his children, Rhonda, Beth and David, he lived an incredible life until his passing. His grandchildren, Sarah, Jake, Jesse, Zachary, Molly and Avery, were the light of his life. He was so proud of each of them and cherished hearing about their accomplishments. His wonderful nephew, Neil and his wife, Lisa; along with their children, Chad and Kayla, gave him great pleasure and kept him connected to his brothers. His daughter-in-law, Joan was loving and supportive throughout his life. His dog grandchildren, Ziggy, Martin, Harry and Franklin delighted him with their personalities and never ending kisses. Jason graduated Lawrence High School in 1946 and subsequently obtained his BA degree from Duquesne University and his law degree from Boston University. He was a dedicated and respected bankruptcy attorney in the Greater Lawrence area for 56 years and was a member of the Lawrence Bar Association, Mass Bar Association and Federal Bar Association. He reminisced fondly about sharing a practice with his brother, Merrill and his much-loved son-in-law, Jeffrey Kitaeff and was ecstatic when his granddaughter, Sara, followed in his footsteps. Daddy, Papee, Jason was a quiet and solitary man who adored life. For him, the best part of living was his adoration of tradition and his wonderful family. Grief is the reminder that love has been present and we are eternally grateful for his never-ending love; he will be missed forever. Services at Temple Emanuel, 7 Haggetts Pond Road, Andover, on Wednesday, July 3, at 11:00 AM. Interment at Temple Emanuel Cemetery, Lawrence. Shiva will be observed, immediately following the interment, at the home of Lisa and Neil Rosenberg, until 8pm. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in his memory to Temple Emanuel. For directions or online condolences, go to www.goldmanfc.com Goldman Funeral Chapel - Malden

Beth with profound sadness I write this condolence note to you.

At this time words fail me to express my emotions on Jason´s passing. I distinctly remember him as an energetic individual who would help and guide those in need. I had met Jason before we attended Boston University. His touch in my life was, as you may remember, providing reference to my position in the local government in Newton, and becoming a member of Senator Brook´s re-election campaign. What an amazing person and what a remarkable life. I feel so lucky to have known him.

Please accept my deepest condolences to you over Jason´s loss. I offer you and the family my heartfelt sustenance and amity during this intricate time.

A great man, an accomplished lawyer, and a friend. He made us all better in everything he did. My deepest condolences.

To the Rosenberg Family,
I have so many fond memories of Mr. Rosenberg telling me stories about his children and grandchildren and how proud he was of all of them. I will cherish my memories of driving Mr. Rosenberg to the boat in Falmouth to go over to Martha's Vineyard and the stories he would tell me while he held my hand as I drove.
Much love,
Jennifer Racioppi
