Jason Lee Wilkinson

Jason Lee Wilkinson, 39, of Graham, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 26, 2025 surrounded by the family that he loved fiercely.

Jason was born on July 3, 1985 to Linda Wilkinson Bulla. Nicknamed “Worm” by his family, he was devoted to them, never missing an end of the day phone call to his mom and sister. They finished every call with their special “songs” to each other. For many years, he worked as a bartender at several local restaurants, meeting people from all walks of life, including his supportive partner of 20 years, Mike Sutton. He was always a champion of the underdog, standing up for those that needed support and encouragement. Trips to the beach were a highlight of his life. His eyes lit up the first time that he saw the ocean and that magic feeling persisted for every visit. Opinionated yet warm-hearted, Jason was a cherished presence in the lives of those that knew him.

Jason is survived by his mom, Linda Wilkinson Bulla; partner, Mike Sutton; sister, Chandra Cook; nieces and nephews, Skyler, Landon, Dex, Brendan, and Jessa Sutton; and beloved pets, Jack, Max, Miss Kitty, and McKitty. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joseph Lemuel Wilkinson and Mary Clementine Wilkinson.

A celebration of Jason’s life will be held Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at 2 PM at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will immediately follow the service.
