Jasper John Poole Jr.

Jasper John Poole Jr, age 82 of Algonac, MI passed away March 22, 2023 in his home. He was born May 11, 1940 in Mt Clemens, MI to the late Jasper J. Sr. and Virginia N. (nee Hamilton) Poole. He married Kathleen E Morrison on April 3, 1969 in Algonac.

Jasper was a 1958 graduate of Algonac High School. He retired from the Selfridge Air National Guard base as a Civil Engineer Supervisor in 2002 after 31 years of service.

Mr. Poole is survived by his wife Kathleen, children Jasper J. (Ka) Poole IV, Christine (Richard Kaminske) Arneil, and Elizabeth J. Poole-Bousson, grandchildren Eric (Kari) Arneil, John Arneil, Alexis (Brandon) Perkins, Trevor Arneil. Selenna Placencia, Emily Wesch, Jasper Poole V, Junior Renkert, Joshua Poole, Annastasia Poole, Matthew Bousson II, and Mason Bousson, great grandchildren Autumn Arneil, Jaxson Arneil, Lilah Ortega, Addison Placencia, Miguel Moncivaiz, Liam Perkins, Dawson Sharrow, and Elliot Bolger, a sister Marion Bujak, and an uncle Bob Poole, and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister Arlene Devory Jr.

Honorary pall bears will be Jasper's grandsons Eric Arneil Jr., John Arneil, Trevor Arneil, Jasper Poole V, Junior Renkert, Joshua Poole, Matthew Bousson II, and Mason Bousson.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday March 27, 2023, in the Gilbert Funeral Home, Algonac. Visitation 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM Sunday in the funeral home.
