Jaunita Strong Obituary

She was united in marriage to Larence Strong in 1952, and the couple spent a wonderful 71 years together, until Larence's death in 2023. Jaunita was a great wife, mother, and neighbor. She was a devoted Christian and member of the Cherry Street Baptist Church for several years.
Jaunita is survived by daughter Deborah G. Whitesides and husband Dallas; son Larry L. Strong and wife Haylan; one granddaughter, Lyssa; one great grandson, Seth.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jasper and Eve Denton; and her husband, Larence Strong.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 31, 2025 in the Pontiac Cemetery, Pontiac, MO. Memorial contributions may be made to St Jude Children's Research Hospital. Arrangements are under the direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.

Juanita was a vital part of our family from 1977-1988. She loved on my kids and they loved her! My husband, John and I feel so blessed to have known her and to have labored with her and Bro. Larence in the Challengers Bible Class at Cherry St Baptist Church!
