Javier Molina Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Carnes Funeral Home - Texas City on Feb. 9, 2026.
Javier Molina, 66, of Galveston Texas, passed 02/05/2026, surrounded by love.

Javier was a true example of strength, joy, and unwavering love. His condition never limited his life even for a minute and he was rarely seen without a smile.

After his stroke in 2005, when life changed in ways he never expected, he met those challenges with grace and courage. Though confined to his wheelchair, he remained the same admirable person he always was. Teaching everyone around him the true meaning of perseverance.

Javier found joy in watching the motorcycles drive by on Broadway during biker rally where he would wave at every single biker that passed him along the way. As well as going to Shipley's Donuts every morning to have his usual coffee and kolache. There, no one was ever a stranger to him, everyone that walked through those doors was greeted with a smile. Besides those hobbies, he loved to sing, dance, and enjoy family time, which will never be forgotten.

His life taught us that happiness does not depend on circumstances, it comes from within.

By his side was his devoted wife, Norma Nely Molina, a remarkable woman whose love, patience and care carried him on through those years. Their bond was a true example of commitment and unconditional love.

Javier was proceeded in death by his mother, Mercedes Velasquez Castro Molina, Father, Juan Molina Contreras. Brothers, Juan Antonio Molina, Jose Angel Molina, Florencio Molina, and sister Elva Molina. Surviving siblings Isidro Molina, Juan Manuel Molina, Maria Antonia Molina De La Rosa, Martha Rosa Molina, Arturo Molina, & Delia Margarita Molina. He also leaves behind two loving daughters, Nayeli Perez & Claudia Molina, two incredible sons, Luis David Molina and Luis Mario Rosales, along with two amazing grandchildren, Nelson Perez Jr and Nolyn Perez.

He will forever continue to live on in our hearts and watch over us every step of the way.
