It is with profound sadness that we announce the untimely passing of Jaxon Ray Bechtel, age 18, of Harrisonville, Missouri, who left this world on Monday, October 20, 2025, as a result of a tragic accident. Family and friends are invited to gather for a Blue & White Celebration to honor Jaxon's life at the Harrisonville High School Stadium at 7:00pm on Saturday, October 25, 2025. A funeral service will be held at Harrisonville United Methodist Church on Sunday, October 26, 2025, at 1:00 PM. Private interment at Orient Cemetery in Harrisonville, MO. Memorial donations are suggested to Cass Career Center.

Jaxon was born on March 5, 2007, in Overland Park, Kansas, to Steve and Alexis (Eisel) Bechtel; and spent his youth surrounded by the warmth and love of family. A proud member of the Harrisonville High School Class of 2025, Jaxon graduated with his high school diploma just months before his passing. He was a talented athlete with a passion for sports, particularly baseball, which he adored. He also played football, demonstrating a competitive spirit and a love for teamwork. Beyond the field, Jaxon found joy in the simple pleasures of life, including fishing and cruising around town in his cherished 1996 Ford Ranger truck.
Jaxon contributed to his community through his work at Midwest Lumber, where he was a dedicated employee in the delivery department. His determination and strong work ethic were admired by colleagues and customers alike, and he took pride in every aspect of his role.
Jaxon will be deeply missed by his loving family, which includes his parents, Steve and Alexis Bechtel, of the home; his brothers, Reese and Callen Bechtel; his grandparents, Mark (Kathy) Eisel, Susan Bechtel, and Larry (Kathy) Bechtel; his great-grandfather, Everett Bechtel; as well as, many aunts, uncles, cousins, his loving girlfriend, and friends . His loss leaves an irreplaceable void in the hearts of everyone who had the honor of knowing him.
