On Saturday, April 20, 2024, Jay “Jaybird” Edward Turner of Millersville, MD, formerly of Glen Burnie, MD passed away with family by his side. Beloved husband of Laura C. Turner; loving father of Danielle N. Turner and her husband, Andrew, Kara L. Sykes and her husband, Rob and Kate P. Wheeler; devoted poppaw of Aubree, Casper, Aubrey and Parker; dear son of Eva J. Turner and the late Ronald A. Turner; and loving brother of Ron “Skeeter” Turner and Terri Riddle. He is also survived by his devoted companion “Bob” and several nieces, nephews and loving friends.
Family and friends are invited to gather at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, PA, 1 2nd Avenue, SW ,(at Crain Highway), Glen Burnie, MD 21061 on Friday, April 26, 2024 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 6:00 to 8:00 pm where a Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at 11:00 am. His Inurnment will be held privately at a later date.
If desired, Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Head and Neck Cancer Foundation.
