Jay R Miller

Jay R Miller 61 of Jackson died Thursday January 22, 2026, at his home. He resided in Beachwood, NJ before moving to Jackson over 20 years ago where he was an elementary school teacher for many years. He enjoyed sailing and golfing and walking in his woods down by the stream. He loved working outside, planting wildflowers, feeding and watching the many birds and deer in his yard in what has become known as "The Shire". He is predeceased by his parents, Russell & Barbara Miller. Surviving is his daughter, Emily Miller and her mother Dana, his sister, Elizabeth LaChall & her husband Tom, niece Eva and nephew Alex, his former father & sister in-law, Dennis and Dawn and her son Elliott. Memorial gathering is Tuesday 4-7 PM with a 6:30 PM service at Oliverie Funeral Home 125 S. Cooks Bridge Rd Jackson.
