Jay Pyles, 88, of Middletown passed away on Monday January 19, 2026, at St. Vincent Hospital in Anderson. He was born on January 12, 1938, in Monticello Kentucky.
Jay served his country in the United States Army.
He is survived by his son, Jeff (Tammy) Pyles; grandchildren, Zeb (Stacey) Pyles and Zach (Kristie) Pyles; great grandchildren, Lincoln and Madison Pyles; brothers, Delmer (Linda) Pyles and Kay (Gladys) Pyles; several nieces and nephews and his beloved dog Dexter.
Jay was preceded in death by his parents, Jonnie and Pernie (Davis) Pyles.
Family and friends may gather from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Friday January 23, 2026, at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home in Middletown.
