Jay Spencer Raney, born May 16, 1953, in Benton AR, passed from this life on October 18, 2024, at Hospice of Texarkana in Texarkana TX. He was 71 years old.
He is preceded in death by parents Rosco Raney and Jessie B (Ragsdale) Raney; son Jay Derek Raney; brothers Brown Raney, Joe Raney, Gus Raney, David Raney, Hubert Raney, Jim Raney, and John Raney; and sisters Annette Raney and Sheila Raney.
He is survived by his son Dustin James Raney of Itasca TX; sister Sandra Davis of Benton AR; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; special friend and companion Amanda Cambron of Douglassville TX; Patricia Holcomb and family of Douglassville TX; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and dear friends.
Jay Spencer Raney is being cremated under the direction of Queen City Funeral Home in Queen City TX.
