Funeral services for Jay Twinn, 40, of Ft. Yates, will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at the Green District Building in Ft. Yates. Burial will be in the Twinn Family Cemetery under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home of Mobridge. A procession will be leaving Kesling Funeral Home at 4:00 PM, on Monday, September 29, 2025, with visitation starting at the Green Building around 5:00 PM, and a prayer service starting at 7:00 PM.

Jay C. "Binx" Twinn was born October 9, 1984, in Bismarck, North Dakota to Walter Twinn Sr. and Twyla Zahn.

Jay went to St. Bernard's Mission throughout his elementary school years and went to Standing Rock Public High School up until his senior year. Although Jay did not graduate, he got his GED. Jay was very proud of his son, Elias for graduating college with a carpentry degree.

Jay worked at Prairie Knights Casino in Security, worked road construction for Northern Improvement, worked at Anderson Construction and was a heavy equipment operator. Jay was a "jack of all trades" and a master of none. Jay loved teaching his daughters his mechanic skills and he worked up until his health would no longer allow him.

Jay was a huge Green Bay Packer Fan and loved to go to rodeos.

Jay is survived by his wife, Sunni Twinn, siblings, Walt Twinn Jr., Ferd Twinn, Bill (Leah) Fox, Pamela (Clyde) Standing Bear, one adopted brother, Joey Dahl, his children, Elias Jonah and Eden June, one favorite grandson, Cole "Jughead" Kingston, his aunts, Val Eagleshield, Kathy Felix, uncles Waldo Zahn, Steve (Darlene) Yellow Earrings, cousins, Belinda Twinn, Arlene Gray Bear, nieces Megan Fox and Ariana Fox, and nephews Morgan Fox, Joshua Fox and Mikael Fox.

Jay is preceded in death by his parents, Walt Twinn, Sr. and Twyla Zahn, his siblings, Craig Twinn, Justin Fox, Larry Fox Jr., Nevada Twinn, Catherine Fox-Keeps Eagle, his favorite auntie, Marlene Twinn and his in laws Norma White Lightning and
Allen White Lightning.
