Jayne Ellen Allen

Jayne Ellen Allen of Wynne passed away at her home on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at the age of 81.

Jayne was born in Russellville, Arkansas, on May 25, 1944, to Oscar and Gertie Martin. She was a devoted homemaker, mother, and grandmother. Jayne loved collecting; her impressive cow collection was particularly important, and her collection of stuffed bears had grown over 25 years. She and Jimmy married in 1965 and were best friends who cherished their children and grandchildren. Jayne was always generous with her grandchildren, making sure to have a gift for them whenever they visited. She also gave to many charities, supported veterans, food banks, and her church. Jayne and Jimmy enjoyed spending weekends at the casinos, relaxing and making the most of life together. She is survived by her, son, Shane Allen and wife Shannon of Springdale, Arkansas, grandchildren, Alyssa Chambers and husband Jacob of Palestine, Arkansas, Chase Allen and wife Liz of Wynne, Arkansas, Katelyn Hankins and husband Bradley of Hermitage, Arkansas, Austin Ross of Moro, Arkansas, Jordan Allen of Kansas City, Missouri and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Reed Allen in July 2025 and son Marty Allen.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at 11 AM at Vanndale Cemetery.
