Antoniewicz, Jean
ALBANY - Jean C. Antoniewicz, 91, entered Eternal Life, Thursday, January 22, 2026. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Mary Fragomani Cusato.
Jean graduated from Philip Schuyler High School. She and her late husband were the former owners of Skippers Tavern in Albany. She was a longtime employee of the Department of State. Jean was a life member of the Polish American Citizens Club, and former member of the Bucci McTague Post and Albany Elks. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, the ocean, traveling, reading and crossword puzzles.
She was the wife of the late Edmund R. Antoniewicz; mother of Marcella "Marcy" Antoniewicz; grandmother of Matthew Antoniewicz (Sharon); great-grandmother of Samuel Robert Antoniewicz and Francis Edmund Antoniewicz; sister of the late Frank J. Cusato; several nieces and nephews survive.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Jean's family Thursday, January 29, 2026, 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at Lasak & Gigliotti Funeral Home, 208 North Allen St., Albany, N.Y. 12206. Her Funeral Service will begin at 1:15 p.m. Please enter the funeral home from the rear parking lot entrance only.
The Rite of Committal will immediately follow at St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands, N.Y.
