Jean Barber

Jean Barber, age 92 of Centerville, Tennessee peacefully passed on October 12, 2025. Mrs. Jean was born in Centerville, Tennessee to the late Dewitt and Elva O'Guin Arnold on December 5, 1932.
In addition to her parents, Jean is preceded in death by her late husband Glen Barber, daughter Valerie Kay Barber, and sister Freda Roder.
She married her sweetheart, the late Glen Barber in 1955 and together they built their home and family in Coble on Beaver Dam. As a devoted homemaker, she nurtured her children, delighted in her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and made every day warm with her care. Her love and devotion will be remembered in the hearts of all who knew her.
Those left to cherish her memory are sons Chuck (Tracie) Barber of Centerville, Tennessee and Terry (Lisa) Barber of Nunnelly, Tennessee; grandchildren Travis, Ashley, Lucas, Landon, and Tabitha; great-grandchildren Isabella, Sara, Bentley, Brady, Brayden, Harper, Hayston, Hutton and sister Joanna Campbell of Centerville, Tennessee.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Fairfield Church of Christ scholarship fund.
