Services for Jean Carroll, 93, of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 11 a.m., Saturday, July 5, 2025, at Sand Flat Baptist Church, with Bro. Steve Futch officiating.
Burial will be in Sand Flat Cemetery.
Mrs. Carroll passed away on June 28, 2025, in Grand Saline. A lifelong resident of the community, she was a devoted member of Sand Flat Baptist Church, where she faithfully served for many years as a Sunday School teacher and in numerous other roles. Her greatest joy in life was being a loving wife, mother, and Nena. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Edith Edwards, and by her beloved husband of 58 years, Cleatus Carroll.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Dan & Susan Carroll of Grand Saline; daughter and son-in-law, Pam & E.W. Bruner of Mineola; brother, Don Edwards of Grand Saline; four grandchildren, Chase Carroll (Kalyn) of Boerne, Derek Bruner (Rebekah) of Baton Rouge, LA, Jason Bruner (Ashley) of Ft. Worth, and Justin Bruner (Riley) of Tyler; six great-grandchildren, Henry, Wyatt, Peyton, Lotte, John Louis, and Cameron; and numerous nieces, nephews, church family, other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Chase Carroll, Derek Bruner, Jason Bruner, Justin Bruner, Dan Carroll, and E.W. Bruner.
Honorary pallbearers will be Henry Bruner, and Wyatt Bruner.
Memorials may be made to Sand Flat Baptist Church, 4494 FM 857, Grand Saline, TX, 75140.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the church.
