Born on November 7, 1935, Jean (Hickey) dedicated her life to being a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She shared a marriage of nearly 67 years with her devoted husband, Nicholas J. Cieri, until his passing in December 2024. Together, they raised a family rooted in Norwood, where Jean's warmth and strength left an indelible mark. Jean was the cherished mother of Michael J. Cieri of Norwood, MA, she was also predeceased by her daughter Karen A. Cieri, whose memory lives on in the hearts of many friends and family. Born and raised in Massachusetts, Jean was a committed member of the Norwood community, where she attended her local Catholic parishes alongside her husband and raised her family with kindness and devotion. She was known for her radiant wit, fun-loving spirit, and unwavering faith. Jean enjoyed summers on Cape Bretton, Nova Scotia where she spent time with her horse enjoying the balmy warm months with friends and old family, The gift of humor and blessed with a sharp wit Jean could bring a laugh to any room often enjoying a humorous tale. Jean is survived by her son Michael and his family, sisters Carol Troland, Beveryly King, Lois Elliot Donna Marder and her husband's brother John P. Cieri, and many nieces, nephews, and friends who were blessed by her presence and spirit. At Jean's request, details regarding funeral services and memorial arrangements are being kept private.
