Ms. Jean Cirelli

Jean Cirelli was 92 years old when she died of natural causes on Sunday, December 7, 2025 at Autumn Care in Marshville, NC.
Jean was born in Sicily in 1933, and migrated to the United States in 1949. She worked in New York City as a seamstress, and lived in New Jersey. She met Nicolino Cirelli, who also migrated from Italy, at an English as a Second Language class, and they married in 1953.
Jean is survived by her two sons, Tony (and his wife, Lynn) and John (and his partner, Tricia Santora), her grandchildren Christopher Cirelli (and his wife, Danielle), Danielle Bertholf (and her husband Ryan), and Ariana Cirelli (and her husband, Zach Caldwell), and three great-grandchildren, Michaela Cirelli, Aidan Cirelli, and Caleb Cirelli.
She loved to shop. Her favorite color was red, and she adored red roses. After Nicolino retired from his job at the railroad, they spent much of their time traveling, taking 17 cruises and spending a month every year down in Ft. Lauderdale to escape the New Jersey winters.
After Nicolino died, she moved to Matthews, North Carolina, in January 2021, where she enjoyed the warmer weather and not having to deal with snow!
Jean will be missed by her family and all the friends she made along the way.
