Jean Griffin Obituary
The hyphen between Jean Maries’ birth year and the date of her passing into eternal life represents innumerable small acts of kindness done with great love and genuine humility. She was an example of selflessness to her family, friends and all who had the privilege of being a part of her life. She did not seek recognition in serving others and we will never really know the extent of the loving influence she has left on the souls God brought into her life. She left the world a better place.
She was predeceased by her husband, James Ronald Griffin; her son, Bruce Griffin; and grandson, Gerald Griffin. She leaves her daughters, Ronna Griffin Sasser (David) and Kelli Griffin Stokes; daughter-in-law, Betsy Griffin; grandchildren, Justin and Brett (Frannie) Griffin, Haley (Frank) de la Grana, Courtney Sasser, Chet Stokes; and great grandchildren, Bruce, Vera, Louis and Chetty to continue to pass on her love, kindness, and compassion to others.
A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel of Quinn Shalz Funeral Home Wednesday, November 19, 2025. Rosary/Divine Mercy prayers will begin at 1:00 p.m. Her Memorial Service will be at 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Community Hospice , or Samaritan’s Purse
