Jean Carol Gross

Mrs. Jean Goins Gross, 91, of Twin Lakes Community, passed away on Wednesday, December 3rd, 2025, after a year of failing health.

A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of the late Billy Bray Gross and the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Arthur Goins (Leola Hall) both deceased. She was a member of Shiloh Presbyterian Church, Grand Oaks Blvd. Burlington, NC and faithfully served as their church secretary for many years.

Survivors include three children, Mr. Lynn Gross (Betsey) of Burlington, NC, Mrs. Susan Linens (Brian) of Cary, NC and Mr. David Gross (Anne) of Burlington, NC; one sister, Mrs. Pat Davis of Gibsonville, NC; and one sister-in-law, Mrs. Rachel Goins of Cary, NC. She was the loving grandmother and great-grandmother to five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren and an aunt to many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Mr. Clarence Adrian (Chuck) Goins of Chapel Hill, NC and Mr. James Donald Goins of Cary, NC.

Rich and Thompson Funeral and Cremation Service will host a graveside service on Friday, December 12th,11:00AM at Pine Hill Cemetery conducted by Reverend Gail Smith, Hospice Chaplain with AuthoraCare Collective Hospice.

The family will receive visitors at Jean's home, 2431-B Moran Street, Burlington, NC from 12:00 until 2:00 after the graveside service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Twin Lakes Community, 100 Wade Coble Drive, Burlington, NC 27215 and AuthoraCare Collective Hospice, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215.
