Tree, my brother. The bonds of our Air Force family never break, as heavy as our hearts may become.
My lasting memory is of you appearing, just off shift in full PD battle rattle, to honor the late Mrs Lt Col Ayres on her passing a few years back. Because you knew, as family, she would want you there. To fuss at you, maybe, because that was Terri. But mostly to tell you that she loved you, and missed you, and deeply appreciated that you held her in your heart. That was the Tree I know - caring, loyal, going the extra mile to be there when any of us needed you.
It is my solemn duty to honor you in return. Through escapades and shenanigans dating back 30 years, I love and respect the good man you have been, and whose life has touched so many others. Please know that I miss you, and hold your joyous memory deeply in my heart.

Flying with you was never boring. We always laughed on the plane and at dinner where ever we landed. Now you fly high again my AF Brother. I pray for your peace and the peace of your family. Until we meet again in the sky above.

I was in the 514 AES for 5 years with Tree. We had some good times, I know he enjoyed "camping" with us at Whiteman AFB. He always had a smile. A good man to serve with and call friend!

Tree, so fitting we called you that because you stood taller than anyone in so many ways. Your personality and smile lit the room up. I´ll never forget returning from a deployment and your excitement for the first ARM msn to St. Croix. You were like a little kid in the candy store b/c you could finally snorkel. We had so many msns together to include the trip to sit alert for the Democratic convention. We had some fun times at the arcade. Just big kids laughing through it all. I know I speak for many and especially your brothers and sisters in the AE community, you will be missed but never forgotten. We salute you my friend. ( Little Higgs )
