Joseph Shirey Obituary
Joseph was born December 27, 1963 in Carrollton, GA, the son of the late William Austin Shirey and the late Mary Ann Martin Shirey. He enjoyed being under the hood of a car working. You could find in in front of a television, watching his beloved University of Georgia football team. "Go Dawgs" Joseph loved the time he spent with family especially his sister and grandchildren. He was Baptist.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Stone Shirey and step-son, Stephen Peel.
Joseph is survived by his children, William Shirey of Carrollton, Joseph Shirey, Jr. of Franklin, Kayla Sanders of Gainesville, step-son, Chris Kidd of Dublin, siblings, William Anthony Shirey of Carrollton, Timothy Ray Shirey of Ranburne, AL, Elizabeth Ann Shirey of Temple, grandchildren, Hunter Joe Shirey, Jaylin Sanders, Eillie Jo Shirey and Tristen Geter.
In keeping with his wishes, he was cremated.
