Jean Hilliard Obituary

Jean Jones Hilliard, age 95, of Plymouth, Indiana passed away on Sept. 27, 2025.
Jean was born July 16, 1930 in Tipton, Indiana and lived a very full life in several cities, including Kokomo, IN, Indianapolis, IN (where she met and married her husband of 55 years, George), Louisville, KY, and Hazel Crest, IL. She and George settled on Pretty Lake in Plymouth after their retirement.
She is survived by her daughter, Anne (Jim) Smith of Plymouth, IN; her son David (Nichole) Hilliard of Aurora, IL; her daughter-in-law Karen Hilliard of Vienna, VA; and her granddaughter Rebecca Anne Hilliard of Elgin, IL. She is also survived by her brother James Meck of Kokomo, IN.
She was earlier departed by her husband George and her sons, Stephen Paul Hilliard, and LCDR Jeffrey Allen Hilliard.
Jean's request for her obituary was "tell everyone I had a great life." And, as anyone who knew her can attest, she helped them live a great life as well.
Final arrangements are still being determined.
Memorial donations may be sent to Traditions Health, 3555 Park Place W, Suite 100, Mishawaka, IN 46545.
