Jean Hudson Obituary

The Bowling Green native was born June 28, 1937 to the late Wilbur Edwards and Mary Opal Jones Wright. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, James Preston Hudson and son, Phillip Preston Hudson. Jean worked for 27 years in retail cosmetic sales at Castner Knotts and Dillards. She was a longtime member and attended First Baptist Church Bowling Green. She was a selfless person and put all others above herself. Jean's love of her family and others were her top priority.
Survivors include her son, James Bradley Hudson of Bowling Green; daughter, Beth Angle of Bowling Green; grandchildren, Samantha Saalwaechter (John Paul) and Michelle Hudson; great-grandchildren, Clay Preston Alexander Baack and Gabriel Langford; son-in-law, Dennis Angle; sister, Carol Matranga of California; brother, Ronnie Wright of Virginia; and countless nieces, nephews, and special friends.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Cremation was chosen and J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Chapels has been entrusted with arrangements. Expressions of sympathy can be made to Hospice of Southern Kentucky in her memory.
