On September 27, 2025, Louise Sapp Huddleston, age 94, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving and devoted family. Louise was born August 23, 1931, in Columbia, KY, to her parents, Rollin and Lula (McGaha) Sapp.

Louise was preceded in death by two late husbands, Vernon Smith Rogers and Charles William Huddleston; daughter, Susan Turner; son, Terry Rogers; sisters Avanell Sapp Burchett and Margaret Sapp Phillips; and brothers Charles Edward Sapp and Donald Sapp.

Louise worked several years at various jobs, and retired from the State of Kentucky Transportation Department, after 20+ years of service. However, Louise was first and foremost a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, and was best known as "Granny" or "Nana." She loved to host all the holiday meals at her home, and was a most gracious hostess and extraordinary cook! She truly loved people and would speak to everyone she met--whenever and wherever the occasion presented itself.

Louise is survived by her only living son, Jerry Rogers (Dianna); daughter-in-law, Janet Rogers; four grandchildren, Heather Bates (Shawn); Chris Rogers (Terri); Julie Mantlo (David); and Cameron Noble. Seven great grandchildren, Matthew and Leah Rogers, Tyler, Abigail, Lily, and Noah Mantlo; and Lyric Weis. Louise is also survived by her sister, Patti Kaeding; and two brothers, Jimmy Sapp and Doug Sapp; and two step-children, Charles Allen Huddleston and Brenda Stith.

Cremation was chosen, and a private graveside service will be held and attended by the immediate family.

The family has entrusted J. C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Hospice of Southern Kentucky, 5872 Scottsville Rd., Bowling Green, KY 42104.
