Jean M. (Allen) Ignaszewski, age 90, passed away peacefully on March 1, 2026, in Athol, MA. Born to Percy L. and Irene (Hood) Allen, on August 13 ,1935, in Athol, where she remained a life-long resident and raised her own family.
Jean was the beloved wife of Paul D. Ignaszewski and a devoted mother to her son, Steven P. Ignaszewski. She was predeceased by her beautiful daughter, Chris Ann Ignaszewski and her brothers, Robert Allen and Roger Allen. She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Over the years Jean has enjoyed tending to her many flower gardens, baking delicious goodies, decorating, and celebrating the holidays, especially the Christmas season. Jean will be remembered for her strong devotion, love, and protection of her family, who will miss her deeply.
Until we meet again, we love you dear Jean.
A Graveside service will be held at a later date.
