Jean Johns Obituary
Mrs. Jean Johns, age 78 of Franklin, KY, entered into rest Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at 4:05 AM at the Hospice House in Bowling Green, KY.
Arrangements are under the direction of Gilbert Funeral Home where services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, March 23, 2018 with burial to follow in the Sulphur Spring Cemetery in Simpson Co., KY.
Mrs. Johns was born February 13, 1940 in Springfield, TN. to the late Everett Dale Renfro and the late Lula Estell Brooks Renfro.
She is survived by her husband Billy Gordon Johns, 3 children Mary Lou Potter of Brentwood, TN, Willie Johns (Judy) of Franklin, KY. and Kim Roberts (Bart) of Franklin, KY. 5 grandchildren Jessica Clayton, Billie Jean Johns, Zoie Roberts, Ross Potter and Ty Barnett, 2 great grandchildren Macie Clayton and Grayson White, a sister Linda Harmon of Mt. Juliet, TN and a brother Jimmy Renfro of Elkton, KY.
Mrs. Johns was a member of the Blackjack Baptist Church and the Simpson County Homemakers. She also was a volunteer at the Franklin-Simpson Hospital.
Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday, March 22, 2018 and from 6:00 AM until service time on Friday at Gilbert Funeral Home.
