Jean worked various different jobs, she last worked as a assembly-line worker at the General Motors Automotive Plant in Tarrytown, NY, until she retired.
Jean enjoyed simple hobbies of drawing and painting. She used to love roller skating in her younger years. Most she enjoyed the company of her family.
Jean is survived by her daughter, Anna Howard (George Palacio) of Peekskill; her four grandchildren Janet Bauer, Frank Bauer, Teresa (Wesley) Keenum and Charles Bauer; her 10 great-grandchildren & 4 great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by her three sisters: Mary Herbert (Thomas Doheny), Joanne (James) Pecci and Phyllis (William) Murphy.
Along with her parents, Jean was predeceased by her husband John E. Knapp Jr and her sister, Patricia Yorizzo.
Her Family will gather on Tuesday, May 31st from 2-4pm at the LIBBY FUNERAL HOME, 55 Teller Avenue, Beacon. A Private Cremation will follow, and interment will be at the discretion of her family. To offer a message of condolence or share a fond memory, please visit: www.LibbyFuneralHome.com
