Jean Knitter (nee Suhajda), 83, longtime resident of Cicero, at rest November 16, 2023. Born August 3, 1940 in Chicago, Il to John and Jean Suhajda. Beloved wife of the late Sam Johnson and Jerome Knitter; loving mother of John (Cheryl) Knitter, Edward Uresti and the late Jerry Knitter; devoted grandmother of of Lindsey (Nick Boone) Knitter, Jayce, Kyle, Elizabeth and Jerry Jr. Knitter and Brandon (Brittany) Sykes; dearest great grandmother of Madison, Michael, Nico, Evelyn, Felix, Gemma, Arienia, Paisley, Hayden, Kinzley, Lily and Audrey; dear aunt of John Paul (Gertrude) Suhajda and their children, Zachary and Hope. Jean was interested in all kinds of music, especially Elvis Presley. She enjoyed animals, crocheting, old TV shows, in particular the Golden Girls, and John Travolta. Funeral Wednesday November 22, 2023 at 9 A.M. from Linhart Funeral Home 6820 W. Cermak Rd., Berwyn to St. Frances of Rome Church 15th and 59th Ct., Cicero for a 9:30 Funeral Mass.
