Jean LaFramboise Obituary

Jean Marie LaFramboise
Jean Marie LaFramboise, 99, of Old Bridge, NJ, passed away on September 7, 2025 at her home.
Jean was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. She moved to Connecticut in 1946 and worked as a bookkeeper for many places including New England Laundry, Hartford Kosher Catering, Novgrad Kosher Catering and Willington Seniors where she was also a member.
Jean married the love of her life Gerard LaFramboise and settled in Willington in 1971. She considered Connecticut her true home and was engaged in running the Senior Center for many years. She was always organizing and helping others and was a member of the St. Jude's Guild and VFW Ladies Auxiliary #938.
She will be remembered lovingly as a gracious lady – always smiling and friendly.
Jean is predeceased by her husband Gerard, her parents Frank and Helen Vuola, and her siblings Clementine (Mae) and Frank. She is survived by her brother Richard Vuola with whom she resided in New Jersey for a year and her many loving nieces and nephews.
Jean requested donations in her memory be sent to the Willington Senior Center, 20 Senior Way, Willington, CT 06279, or the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105 (stjude.org).
