Jean Spillman Lanoue, 77, a resident of Ethel, LA, died at her home on Wednesday, February 4, 2026. She was retired, after 41 ½ years working at The Highlands Bank in Jackson. There will be a visitation on Monday, February 9, 2026 at the Jackson United Methodist Church from 5:00 pm until 8:00pm and then on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 from 9:00 am until funeral services at 12:00 noon, conducted by Pastor Michael Munro. Burial will be at the Jackson Cemetery. She is survived by her husband of 59 ½ years, Charles Lanoue; one daughter, Candace "Candy" Metz and husband Willie; two sons: Charles "Chuck" Lanoue Jr; Christopher "Chris" Lanoue and wife Wanda; four sisters: Ann Spaccarotella and husband Carmen "Sonny"; Myrtle Netterville; Nancy Jordan; and Kay Bigner and husband Sherman; eight grandchildren: Tiffany Bratcher (Tyler), Katie Rowe (Rickie), Lanna Matthews (Andrew), Kyle Lanoue (Sara), Clayton Metz (Collette), Cassidy Lanoue, Kristin Lanoue, and Charley Lanoue; five great-grandchildren: Rylie, Mason, Taylor, Cooper, Eloise. She was preceded in death by her parents Clifton and Addie Spillman, brothers Carl "Roy" Spillman and William "Billy" Spillman, and daughter-in-law Wendy Lanoue. Pallbearers will be Kyle Lanoue, Clayton Metz, Andrew Matthews, Tommy Netterville, Derrick Bigner, and Al Kirkland. Honorary pallbearers will be William Bigner; John, Paul, and Mike Spaccarotella; Scotty Kirkland; Josh Bigner; Jimmy Netterville; and Jeff Lanoue.
