Gladys Edwards Courtney Siebert "Gagi"

Our hearts are forever broken but we are rejoicing for our Matriarch as she went to be with her Lord and Savior at her home in Ethel on January 28, 2026. She was 97 years old and a native of Baton Rouge. She was the perfect example of what a lady should be. She was loved by anyone who knew her and loved people so well. She graduated from Istrouma High School in 1945 and attended Southeastern University. She graduated from Our Lady of The Lake School of Nursing, and worked for Dr.Jack Jones for 15 years. She retired from Feliciana Forensic Facility with 26 years. Gladys was a member of the Plantation Cowbells, Retired Nurses, Ethel Friday Club, Plainlanders Exxon Annuitants Club, Feliciana and LA Forestry Associations and Clinton United Methodist Church. In the past, she volunteered at The Dorcas Door. In later years, Gladys could always be found at any sporting events that her great grandchildren were playing.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at Clinton United Methodist Church from 9:00 am until service time at 11:00 am. A 2:30 pm graveside service will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory in Baton Rouge.
