Beverly Brashier Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Charlet Funeral Home, Inc., Zachary, LA on Jan. 28, 2026.
Beverly Ann Brashier, born January 13, 1941, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, shortly after celebrating her 85th birthday.

Born in McComb, Mississippi, Beverly spent most of her life in Ethel, Louisiana. She cherished her family and deeply loved her children, finding great comfort in the care and support they provided in her later years. Their presence, patience, and love meant so much to her.

She was especially known for her Christmas traditions. Family and friends eagerly looked forward to her homemade bread and candy, including chocolate-covered peanuts and raisins and white chocolate pecans. All of her great-grandchildren looked forward to receiving M&Ms each Christmas, a simple tradition that brought them excitement and brought Beverly so much joy.

She shared a special bond with her chihuahua, Lily, who was like a child to her and brought her great comfort and companionship. She looked forward to her heavenly reunion with her sons and family members who had gone before her, and it is comforting to know she is now reunited with them, as well as with Lily. Her love and traditions will live on in the hearts of her family for generations.

She is survived by her children, Donna Evans (Scott), Terri Price (Mike), and Janice Bailey (Danny); her grandchildren, Dewayne Bryant (Kristin), Jason Bryant (Brigit), Shannon Wynn, Crystal Buritt (Jake), Daniel Bailey, Jacob Bailey (Amber), Macie Rivere (Blaze), Jessica Brashier, and Colby Cameron (Shainna); and her sisters, Betty Mattason, Georgie McCaa, Ada Louise Stubbs, and Jeannie Harman. She is also survived by 26 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by her sons, Bruce Brashier and Harold Wayne Brashier; her daughter-in-law, Lori Brashier; her granddaughter, Cassi Brashier; and her sisters, Delores Hopkins, Wanda Haydel and brothers, Bobby Foster, Earl Foster and Aubrey Foster.
