Jean Bernadette Larson

Born October 10th, 1944 and passed away peacefully July 16th, 2025 surrounded by family.

Jean is survived by her children, Laurie (Robert) Wolff, Tina (Brian) Wagenbach, and David (Rebecca) Larson; grandchildren, Robert and Maddie Wolff, Benjamin, Ashley, and Brooke Wagenbach, Jack and Max Larson, and Natashia, Justin, and Luke Kalkes; great grandchildren, Mikey Wolff and Emmett Cook; sisters, Debbie Deering and Diane Pederson; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Preceded in death by her husband Bruce; twin sister, Joan; parents, father Harold Kenneth Hill, mother Shirley June Hardman.

Jean was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She and Bruce, her husband of 43 years, raised their family in South St. Paul and later retired to the lake cabin they built together in Backus in the early 1970s. She was known for her creativity and joyful spirit-an avid quilter, knitter, and crafter who loved making things for others. She found true happiness at the lake, especially on the deck surrounded by her flower baskets, taking in the peaceful view. She loved feeding the birds, hosting friends and family, and playing cards. Jean and Bruce were blessed with lifelong friendships both in South St. Paul and up north. Jean worked for many years at Divine Redeemer and St. Joseph's hospitals, where she also volunteered for holiday events like Santa visits and Easter egg hunts.

Jean was a loving and supportive mom and grandma who never missed an opportunity to cheer on her kids and grandkids. Jean was fun, protective, generous, and always thoughtful. She was also blessed with three dear sisters-"The Treasures"-with whom she shared countless laughs, traditions, and lifelong memories. Jean will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but we find peace knowing she is now reunited in heaven with her beloved husband Bruce and her twin sister Joan.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Allina Hospice Health Foundation Nonprofit 2925 Chicago Ave - Mail Route 10721 Minneapolis, MN 55407.
