Jean Lynerd

On February 28, 2026, "Tani" (nee Crother), age 94, passed away peacefully at Brandywine Assisted Living in Voorhees. Born in Jeannette, PA, Jean had lived for a majority of her adult life in the Downs Farm section of Cherry Hill where she raised her family. She later moved to Marlton with her husband where she was a parishioner at St. Joan of Arc Parish.

Jean was predeceased by her husband, John L. "Papa-Jack" Lynerd. She is the loving mother of Mary Beth Gutstadt (Mark), Michelle A. Piazza, John C. Lynerd, Patricia J. Rudderow (Allen), Mark G. Lynerd (Tina), Denise M. Gallagher and Michael J. Lynerd (Gwen). She is the devoted grandmother of Christopher, Holly, Ashley, Alexis, Nicole, Kayla and Britney; numerous great grandchildren. and her sister, Jan DiCarlantonio as well as several nieces and nephews.

Jean will be remembered as a woman whose hands healed, whose heart comforted, and whose faith guided her every step. She believed deeply in living a life of service to others and took immense pride in her work as a nurse. She graciously accepted every role God placed before her, never seeking status - only purpose. Jean leaves behind an immeasurable legacy of selfless devotion, unwavering faith, and boundless love that will be carried forward through generations to come.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Thursday, March 5th from 10:00 - 10:45 AM at the St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 100 Willow Bend Rd., Marlton, NJ where her Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM. Entombment following at New St. Mary Cemetery, 515 W. Browning Road, Bellmawr, NJ.
