Jean was born in Chelsea on July 18, 1946, to the late Anthony J. and Rose M. (Letterie) Cedrone. A longtime resident of East Boston, she graduated from East Boston High School in the class of 1964. Jean remained in East Boston to raise her family and lived there for most of her life before moving to North Andover three years ago.
Jean worked as a hairdresser in Chelsea during her early career and later as a dental assistant for East Boston Dental Associates, where she dedicated over 30 years. An avid reader, Jean always had a book in hand. She enjoyed playing bingo in her earlier years and had a fondness for puzzles. Above all, she adored her family and cherished the time spent with them. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Jean was the beloved wife of the late Daniel J. McGillicuddy, with whom she shared 37 years of marriage until his passing in 2007. Devoted mother of Daniel McGillicuddy and his wife Monica of Peabody. Cherished grandmother of Brianna McGillicuddy of Peabody. Dear sister of Richard Cedrone and his wife Shelia of Salem, and the Loving aunt of the late Jared Cedrone. She is also survived by many loving cousins, extended family members, and friends.
