Jean Melanson Obituary
Born on June 29, 1947, in Waltham, Massachusetts, to the late Jean B. and Mary H. (née Doucette) Melanson, Jean lived and worked in Massachusetts until his retirement from Verizon Wireless as an operations technician. He eventually moved to Port Charlotte, where he met the love of his life Gail F. Manzelli. Jean and Gail have enjoyed living at Maple Leaf Estates in Port Charlotte for 9 years and the many activities the park offers.
Jean is survived by his loving partner Gail, several nieces and nephews and their families. In addition to his parents, Jean was preceded in death by a sister and a brother.
A private service celebrating Jean's life will be held at a later date.
