Jean Reitz Obituary

She shared 49 wonderful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Mike Reitz. Together they raised two children, Jenni (Jeremy) Skorzewski and Chris (Laura) Reitz and she adored her five grandchildren ~ Bre, CJ, Jacob, Caleb and Nathan ~ who brought her endless joy.
For nearly 50 years, Jean devoted her professional life to nursing, serving as a Registered Nurse. Outside of work, she embraced life fully ~ she loved to travel, enjoyed "camping" and was always up for a new adventure. She loved playing golf, savoring quiet sunsets and took great pride in her green thumb, tending to her plants with the same care she gave to others. She cherished time spent with family and friends.
Jean will be deeply missed by her husband, children, grandchildren, extended family and countless friends who were blessed to know her.
IN LIEU OF FLOWERS, the family asks that donations be made in Jean's name to Feeding America, one of her favorite causes, so that her legacy of caring for others may continue.
Her life was a blessing, her memory a treasure ~ she is loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.

Jean, You were my travel buddy. We had countless fun adventures together on cruises and "Glamping" in Florida in our RV's with our husbands. We loved meeting each other's families. Your presence in my life was a gift and a treasure. We had future plans to travel much further, and they always involved Mike and you. I am going to continue to talk with you Jean, and will think of your laughs and remember your childlike glee and enthusiasm when we did anything that brought joy to our excursions. I hope you can see through your friends' eyes as we all travel and explore. Will see you in heaven some day, my great wonderful friend.
