Clayton G. Roe passed away comfortably at home in St. Francis, WI on November 13th, 2025 at the age of 91. He is survived by his wife of 70 years Marilyn (Hayek) and his children, Vicki (Paul) Ross, Glen Roe, Robert Roe and Janet Roe. Further survived by his grandchildren; Shelly (Rob) Baird, Lisa Roe, Kae Roe, Jenna (Dustin) Terry and Mike Roe, also great-grandchildren Keller, Avery and Colin and his good friends Skip and Jane Michalik.
Preceded in death by his parents Robert & Hulda (Pennington), siblings Evelyn, Jean, Helen, Morris, Willis and Bernard "Bud".
Clay was born in Pickford, MI on May 4th, 1934. He served as a volunteer fireman for the City of St. Francis for 9 years, then was employed by the Highway Dept. of St. Francis for 30 years where he retired from in 1997. Clayton spent his time relaxing and working at the cottage on East Alaska Lake and on the family farm in MI.

My condolences to the Roe family. I don't know if Marilyn remembers me, but I went to the LPN program with her at MATC in 1976 at the downtown campus. I have thought of her often and came across the obituary. I'm sorry for the loss of hr long time husband & want her to know she left an imprint on my life. God speed & RIP to Clayton
