Linda Lee Roe (nee Jamieson), age 76, of Owendale, passed away November 16, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Linda was born in Cass City on January 28, 1949, to Dale and Barbara (Edler) Jamieson. She graduated from Owendale-Gagetown High School in 1967 and went on to earn her Registered Nurse degree from Delta College in May of 1970. She was a very dedicated nurse, working at Hills and Dales Hospital in Cass City for many years, and then in home healthcare in the final years of her career. Linda married Jim Roe on April 25, 1981, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Linkville. She was a life-long member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, where she also was in the Ladies Aid. They shared 44 years of marriage and raised a daughter, Lisa Edwards Halleck and son, Allen Roe. The family enjoyed time camping, jeeping, traveling, and spending time at their cabin near the shore of west Michigan. Linda was an excellent cook and was always happiest when entertaining others. She had many hobbies, including collecting buttons, baking, thrifting, and caring for her beautiful flower gardens. Most of all, she loved her family and friends and was known to always be planning and organizing the next get-together. Her courage and resilience through many health challenges have been an inspiration to all who knew her.

Linda will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those she leaves behind. Surviving are her devoted husband, Jim Roe; daughter, Lisa Edwards Halleck and Glen Ruegsegger; son, Al Roe; siblings: Larry (Janice) Jamieson, Joanne (John) Rinke and David (Mary) Jamieson; several nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.

Linda was welcomed home to heaven by her parents, Dale and Barbara Jamieson and son-in-law, Brad Halleck.

Visitation will be Friday, November 21, 2025 at Juengel & Mellendorf Funeral Home, Inc. in Sebewaing from 2pm-8pm.

The funeral service will be Saturday, November 22, 2025 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Linkville. Visitation will begin at the church at 10am until the time of service at 11am. Pastor Christopher Suggitt will be officiating. Burial will be at Grant Township Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Amazing Grace Animal Shelter in Saginaw or Thumb Area Animal Shelter in Elkton.
