Jean was born on January 03, 1960 in South Bend to Jesse and Jeannette (Gorski) Samolczyk. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister-in-law, Colleen Samolczyk.
Left to cherish Jeans' memory is her twin sister, Anne Samolczyk, brothers, Michael Samolczyk and Mark (Cindy) Samolczyk, and a sister, Susan (Ken) Wojtanek; nieces and nephews, David (Julia) Samolczyk, Grace (Nick) Caley, Kate Samolczyk, Alec Samolczyk, and Matthew Wojtanek; and great-nieces Caroline & Vivian Caley, and Lillian Samolczyk
Jean worked as a Clerk for the St. Joseph County Assessor's Office since 1983. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, knitting, and reading.
Private services will be held. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Garden Cemetery, Osceola, IN.
Memorial contributions may be made in Jean's name to Pet Refuge, 4525 S. Burnett Dr., South Bend, IN 46614. Online condolences can be made at www.sjfh.net
