Jean Scheuer Obituary
Jean Lois Scheuer (nee Moran) of Langhorne, passed away peacefully on October 11, 2025, two weeks shy of her 91st birthday.
Jean was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 64 years, John (Jack) T. Scheuer; her parents, Edward and Margaret Moran; her brother, Edward Moran, Jr.; and her sweet granddaughter, Samantha Rae Hill.
Jean was born and raised in Philadelphia, and was a graduate of Frankford High School. While working at her first job at Nabisco, she met Jack, and they married in 1956. She was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker, always putting others ahead of herself. She is survived by her four children: Gail Reinhart and her husband Robert of Jamison, PA., Ken Scheuer and his wife Ann Marie of West Chester, PA., Bob Scheuer and his wife Karen of Newtown, PA, Nancy Hill and her husband Robert of Swarthmore, PA, seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Jean returned to the workplace and was an Executive Secretary for Amoco Container Co., and Lenox Collections for many years. Her hobbies included gardening, sewing, crafts, traveling, and following the Phillies. Her life was greatly devoted to her family and her faith. She adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a longtime member of Langhorne United Methodist Church, Calvary Chapel of Philadelphia, and also attended The Crossing Church and Grace Point Church of Newtown. She taught Sunday school for many, many years, and volunteered with numerous local and national ministries. She was a kind, generous, and thoughtful person who will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Family and friends are invited to greet the family on October 28th from 10:30am-11:30am at The Crossing Church, Rt. 532 & Wrightstown Rd., Washington Crossing, PA, followed by a memorial service. Private interment services will be held at Washington Crossing National Cemetery for immediate family.
