Robert Earl Yarnall

Robert Earl Yarnall went home to be with the Lord on March 17 , 2026. He was 91.

Robert Earl was the beloved husband to his late wife Edna May (Hafer) Yarnall. They were married for 68 years.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Earl and Grace (Muir) Yarnall. He was Born Again (saved) in 1945 at Wyoming Ave. Baptist Church in Philadelphia.

He graduated in 1952, from Lincoln High School, in Philadelphia. He was in the Industrial College studies in High School, he was an excellent student. After graduation he worked at Bell Telephone where he started out as an office boy, then a lineman and later was promoted to management. He retired in 1984, then continued working an additional five more years as a consultant.

Robert Earl Yarnall, AN, USR R, served in the United States Navy Reserves at Willow Grove Naval Base from 1955 – 1961.

Robert Earl and Edna May had six (6) children. Robert was a boy scout leader over the years with his sons. As a family they camped at the Jersey shore. Robert and Edna also enjoyed square dancing and going out to dinner together. Many family picnics and holidays were celebrated throughout the years.

He is survived by is sister Nancy (Yarnall) Howard and Gene her husband, His devoted children, Steven R. Yarnall and Sandy of Yardley, Wayne R. Yarnall and Barbara of Bensalem, Jacqueline Froehlich and Martin of Port Charlotte, FL, David R. Yarnall and Sherri of Oakford, Sherralyn Richards and Mark of Coopersburg, and Robin D. Spector and Kenny of Jamison. He is also survived by his 18 dear grandchildren and 26 (plus 27 on the way) great grandchildren.

Relatives and Friends are invited to a visitation on Monday, March 23, 2026 from 10:00am until the start of Robert's funeral service 11:00am at Lighthouse Baptist Church, 2622 Durham Road, Buckingham, PA 18912. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery, 209 Almshouse Road, Richboro, PA.
