Jean Setzer Obituary
Jean grew up in the town of Ft. Towson, Oklahoma and attended Ft. Towson Schools where she made lifetime friendships that are still strong today. She looked forward to attending the Ft. Towson Homecoming every year. Jean adored being around people and attending her family reunions.
Jean was very business savvy; she completed a bookkeeping course which she put to use partnering with her husband to build the successful business of Setzer Sales and Service. Jean was a cancer survivor, and she fought with remarkable strength. She loved basketball, softball (especially OU softball) and going to the casino on Mondays for the hamburgers and games.
Jean is survived by her children, Jimmy Darrel Setzer (Brenda), and Donald Wayne Setzer; grandchildren, Stephen Wiese (Starla), John Wiese (Nikki), Brandon Setzer (Kathryn), Cathryn Setzer Villanueva (Tino), and Melinda Setzer; great grandchildren, Karisa Cooper, Ryder Wiese, Lydia Whaley, Tarah Pruitt, Ruthanna Wiese, Marcus Setzer, Sophia Villanueva, Isabel Villanueva and Elias Villanueva; sister: Elvie Jo "Sissy" Peebles Logan, along with a host of other family, friends and loved ones.
