Jean Simmonds, 80, of Oxford, Arkansas, passed away, Monday, June 10, 2024, in Calico Rock, Arkansas.
She was born on June 4, 1944, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Charles and Mary (Brickham) Simmonds. Jean lived most of her life in Chicago, Illinois, where she worked and enjoyed time with her family and friends. She moved to Arkansas later in life to be close to her mother and take care of her in her home. Jean loved her family, animals and dancing.
Jean is survived by her niece, Alida Mohlke (Jason); nephew, Pete Murphy (Sarah); great niece, Mallory Traino (Tyler) and great nephews, Ethan Mohlke (Falon), Lane Mohlke and Trevor Murphy.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Dennis Simmonds, Charles Simmonds and Margaret Berry; great niece, Cameryn Mohlke and a host of other relatives.
