The family of Jean Ann Sturgeon of Lancaster is deeply saddened to announce her gentle passing on December 7, 2025 at Riverside Methodist Hospital with her family at her side.
Jean is survived by her devoted husband of 37 years, William Sturgeon; and her children: Rebecca Jones (John), Lori Brooks, Jeff Henderly (Sharon); stepdaughter, Vicki Sturgeon-Alvarez (Angel); Brothers: Greg Breeze (Marlo), Dan Breeze (Bonnie); 12 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and numerous nephews and nieces.
Jean was preceded in death by her father, Richard Bash, her mother Harriet (June) Breeze-Kovacs and her brother Michael Bash.
The family wishes to express their gratitude to the doctors and nurses at Lancaster Memorial Hospital and the Neuro Critical Care Unit Riverside Methodist Hospital for the compassionate care of both Jean and her family.
At Jean’s request, no service will be held.
