Jean Lynn Williams

Jean Lynn McMillan Williams, 78, of Chattanooga, Tennessee passed away Thursday, March 5, 2026. Born in San Francisco, California, she was a member of Grace Episcopal Church. She was a Member of the Order of the Eastern Star #431, American Legion Post Auxiliary Post # 95 and the DAV.

Jean loved to dance, loved music and loved people. In her day, Jeannie was a prolific line dancer. She loved to go to country music concerts. She never met a person that she didn't consider an instant friend. She made sure to tell everyone she loved them. She loved to play solitaire. Jean had a strong faith in God. Jean had many beloved pets, especially Fifi and had a special relationship with animals. They always took to her because of her gentle spirit.

Jean is preceded in death by her parents, Wallace and Virginia Boyce McMillan.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Robert "Andy" Williams; three children, Virginia (Will) Rece, Wallace Conner and Michael Conner; sister, Nancy (Tom) Clothier; two brothers, Brad (Robin) McMillan and Dwight (Eileen) McMillan; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday, March 12, 2026 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. April Berends officiating. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens-South. The family will receive friends 4:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
