Minnie Jean Wyatt, 75, passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2025. Born in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Clyde Jennings and Lillie Mae Leonard Foster and the wife of the late Carl Wayne Wyatt. She was retired from Flowers Bakery. Jean was the longest attending member of Una First Freewill Baptist Church, having joined the church over 50 years ago.
Survivors also include two daughters, Tanya Wyatt Stanley (Kevin) and Carla Denise Wyatt Peake (Alfonso); two brothers, Wilburn Foster and Wayne Foster; a sister, Ruby Hickerson; seven grandchildren, Megan Cabe (Kevin), Jacob Barbare (Amber), Taylor McCullough (Travis), Tyler Newman (Lexi), Ryan Stanley (Kayla), Jacqueline Pearson and Zamion Pearson; eleven great-grandchildren, Reaghan Cabe, Jaxson Cabe, Easton Stanley, Hayden Pearson, Camille Pearson, Witten Cabe, Cynthia Barbare, Nash Barbare, Banks Stanley, Phararoh Martin and Myles Stanley. She was predeceased by a brother, Guy Foster; and three sisters, Shirley Tollosen, Barbara Ann McCraw and Brenda Cook.
Funeral services will be held at 12PM on Thursday November 20, 2025 at Una First Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Kenneth Cash, Rev. Westley Campbell, Rev. Mitch Edge and Rev. Mike Etters officiating. The family will receive friends from 11AM until 12PM prior to the service. Interment will be held at Fort Prince Memorial Gardens at 10AM on Friday, November 21, 2025.
