Wilma Jean Brown King, 69, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 13, 2025. Born in Greer, she was the daughter of Mary Louise Penland Brown and the late Elbert Harold Brown and the wife of Carrol Dean King. Jean was a member of Duncan Methodist Church. She took care of children at many daycares, including Lyman Methodist Church Little Footprints and sold Tupperware for many years.
Survivors also include a son, Larry Daniel King and his wife, Ashley Faye; two daughters, Samantha Dawn Jackson and her husband, Jerry and Summer Armstrong and her husband, Christian; and seven grandchildren, Lily Jackson, Emma King, Maggie Jackson, Daniel King, Isaiah King, Carson Armstrong and Eleanor King. She was predeceased by her daughter and son-in-law, Dee Annette Mayes and Robert Mayes.

The family will host a memorial service to be announced.
